We bless the name of Jesus Christ for this wonderful day, and again we have got an opportunity to hear from the Holy Spirit about the kingdom of love. We have come to know that Jesus will come only after we have preached about the kingdom of love (God) throughout the world. And we know for sure that all that we need or long for is found in the Kingdom of the Love. In His teaching Jesus spoke of groups which inherit the kingdom of heaven (Love, God)
"Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." (Mat 5:3)
Poor in spirit are those who meditate in the Word of God day and night but they still feel empty. Even though they have riches they count it not theirs but of God. These are the ones who get more from the kingdom of love.
"Blessed are they who are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." (Mat 5:10)
The second group is of those who are persecuted for righteousness to these too the kingdom of God is theirs. We must be people who are ready to suffer for His name because blessed are we when people will speak evil of us just because we love God.
"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." (Mat 5:19)
And we are called to give respect to the Word of God, because there is nothing like a small command. And no man or anything can change the Word of God. Not any can say that God has instructed him to change the commandments of God. It doesn't matter the position of that person, he is indeed considered to be the least in the kingdom of God (love).
"Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." (1Cor 6:9-10)
No unrighteous will inherit the kingdom of love because God is righteous. No wonder He gives His righteousness to those who come to Him. And God is against all unrighteousness including fornication (1Cor 6:18) therefore no man has authority to stand and call bad good! And the only solution to all unrighteousness is God’s righteousness which is obtained from His Love. Even Jesus himself spoke plainly that He has not come to destroy the law :
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." (Mat 5:17-18)
Jesus came to fulfill the law because grace is the end of the law ie law was there to lead us to grace which comes from the love of God. And this is how Jesus fulfilled the law, He brought us the Love of God, He himself lived this love and manifested it to the world. And here is the new life for His followers :
"A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another." (John 13:34-35)
We have the greatest commands of God which are Love, to love God first and to love our neighbors. Because he who loves as Jesus loves fulfills the whole law.
"For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." (Mat 5:20)
Your righteousness must exceed that of religious people if you want to enter the Kingdom of Love. Because your righteousness doesn't come from law but from accepting the Love of God. That is why you need proper teaching. This means that the moment you accept His Love by getting born again don't try to do what religious people do ie to follow the law! No man can fulfill the law, no wonder He gave us His Love so that we might be able to fulfill the whole law by Him and through Him alone.
Alleluia glory to God! We no longer depend on our own strength but God himself through His love which is poured in our hearts does all the work. So in the Kingdom of Love, we let God to fulfill His law in us, this is the wonderful life we have in Him.
